Vaccination certificate before travel
PCR, antigen test, quarantine or vaccine certificate?
Depending on the destination local authorities requiredifferent types of documentation to let the traveler into the country . The most common has previously been evidence of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival in the country. Over time, these restrictions have been eased, and some even accept antigen tests taken within 48 hours, sometimes in combination with quarantine. Vaccination certificates or certificates of completed infection have not previously been accepted.
Digital certificates within the EU
EU countries have begun to accept vaccination certificates or proof of past infection instead of, or in combination with, the above-mentioned tests. A prerequisite for obtaining a vaccination certificate is that the Swedish Public Health Agency’s recommended interval has been followed and that the vaccines are registered in the regional medical journal system. EU e-health authorities have developed a coherent digital framework for managing all information and being able to provide their citizens with digital vaccination certificates, so-called Covidbevis .
Do you need a vaccination certificate for an upcoming trip?
If we can find information in the regional medical record systems that you meet the requirements for completed vaccination, we can issue a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate as proof of this.
The certificate is in English and signed by our doctors. For those of you who have been vaccinated and where the free Covid certificate from the eHealth Authority lacks specific information that the destination requires, this certificate is an easy way to avoid restrictions on the destination.
Vaccination certificates when visiting the clinic
To be able to issue a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, you need to be able to identify yourself at the visit. You also need to bring the ID document you intend to travel with, as the passport number or ID card number will be entered on the certificate. After checking the regional record systems, we enter your personal information on the certificate and send it digitally or print it out. We follow all official guidelines for how the certificates should be designed. If you have a BankID and an email address, we can also send the certificate as a link in an email.
Vaccination certificates without visiting the clinic
In order to be able to issue a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate remotely, we need the following (per person):
- A photo of the ID document used for the trip
- A photo of the vaccination card where batch numbers and dates are clearly visible
- An email address to which the certificate (in the form of a link verified with two-factor authentication) can be sent
- A mobile number
Payment is made with Swish or invoicing, and instructions for this are sent by email.
Send the above to peter@vaccinationsgruppen.se . The certificate usually arrives within a couple of hours, and payment is made in arrears.
Certificate of completed illness
We can also issue a certificate of past infections. To do this, we need, remotely or at the clinic, access to the following:
- The ID document used for the trip
- Excerpt from a medical record document that shows that the person was tested with a positive result, when it was done, as well as who performed the test and which test method that was used (only PCR is accepted)
- An email address to which the certificate (in the form of a link verified with two-factor authentication) can be sent
- A mobile number
If you come to the clinic, payment is made on site and the certificate is sent immediately. Otherwise, payment is made with Swish or via invoicing, and instructions for this are then sent by email. Then send the above to peter@vaccinationsgruppen.se . The certificate usually arrives within a couple of hours, and payment is made in arrears.
